The song Waymaker has been stuck in my head lately. It’s really reminded me that we are clearly here for a reason. That doesn’t mean getting up and heading into the gloom isn’t hard. It’s easy to lose focus on the benefits on getting out here, but I want to press why you are here. Partly for yourself, but mainly for the men around you. To pick up the six, to encourage each other, and to help each other through life when it’s hard. Psalm 23:4 say “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me”. I know that each of you walk through the valleys with me and are there to lift me up if I need it.
