The Thang

The PAX would mostly be looking ahead, in one direction this morning. Here’s how it happened:

  • Mosey all the way to the curb of the last parking space at the top of the parking lot
    • BC Paula Abdul to the other curb (Bear Crawl forward 2 spaces, 1 Merkin, Crawl Bear back 1 space, 1 Merkin, repeato to curb)
  • Slow mosey to next round of parking spaces
    • Lt. Dan to the other curb (1 Lunge Right, 1 Lunge Left, 1 Squat, repeato to curb–increasing reps by 1 each set)
  • Continue facing forward, at the same curb
    • Dan Lt. back to the previous curb (1 Backward Lunge Right, 1 Backward Lunge Left, 1 Squat, repeato to curb)
  • Slow mosey to first round of parking spaces
    • CB Paula Abdul to the first curb (Crawl Bear back 2 spaces, 1 Merkin, Bear Crawl forward 1 space, 1 Merkin, repeato to curb)
  • Mosey to (and line up on) the wall
    • People’s Chair – each PAX performed 5 Merkins as our timer
  • Ricky Bobby around the back of TBH and up the hill to where we started
    • Sideways BC Paula Abdul to the other curb (Bear Crawl sideways 2 spaces, 1 Merkin, Bear Crawl sideways back 1 space, 1 Merkin, repeato to curb)
  • Slow mosey to next round of parking spaces
    • Lt. Danger to the other curb (1 Lunge Right, 1 Lunge Left, 1 Squat, 1 Merkin, repeato to curb–increasing reps by 1 each set)
  • Continue facing forward, at the same curb
    • Danger Lt. back to the previous curb (1 Backward Lunge Right, 1 Backward Lunge Left, 1 Squat, 1 Merkin, repeato to curb)
  • Slow mosey to first round of parking spaces
    • Sideways BC Paula Abdul back to the first curb (facing same direction as last time)
  • Mosey to (and line up on) the wall
    • Balls to the Wall – PAX broke up into 2 teams and performed 5 Squats each as our timer
    • Tunnel of Balls (YHC’s gift to the PAX this morning) – Line up in BTTW position, PAX at the front of the line Bear Crawls under the other PAX and assumes BTTW position while next PAX starts to Bear Crawl–repeato until all PAX have Bear Crawled

Now that Christmas is behind us, this is usually the time of year we all start to look ahead and come up with the resolutions we’re going to keep. As you start to create your own goals, be sure to remember your true priorities (family, Sky Q, friends, etc.) and make sure you are making goals that align with these true priorities.

Also, I know F3 NATX has been around for almost a 1.5 years now, but we are wrapping up the first calendar year as a group–I can’t help but think back on the last year, the FNGs we have welcomed and the HIM these men have become in the time we’ve been together. I am so grateful for each of the men in this group and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the relationships I’ve formed because of this group. As we look ahead to 2020, I can’t wait to form even deeper relationships with y’all and I’m excited to think about the new group of guys we will have in our COT at the end of next year!
