The Thang

Two exercises were performed every minute. One exercise increased in reps and the remaining time was used AMRAPing the second exercise. Example: PAX started the 1 minute timer and performed 4 burpees OYO then immediately switched to KB Swings until the minute time completed. Then PAX performed 6 Burpees on a new minute timer switching to KB Swings for the remaining time.

  • Burpees OYO x 4, 6, 8, 10 and Kettlebell swings
  • 30 second rest

  • 30 second rest
  • Squats SC X 20, 30, 40, 30 and Kettlebell swings

YHC has been a bit MIA lately making 1 out 3 or 4 workouts the past few weeks and I felt it this morning. I’m grateful to be able to jump back into the v-gloom and am looking forward to getting the real real with PAX ASAP — it cannot come soon enough.This quarantine has brought about some amazing opportunities but I’ve also struggled with allowing myself to slack. The boundaries of my life are blurry and I’ve not done well lately respecting the king and queen. I’ve not been feeling motivated and, at the same time, forgetting that motivation isn’t a feeling, it’s a decision. This morning’s WO was a good reminder to me that motivation is separate from how I feel about something. If I “feel” it, well, then that’s simply an added bonus.
