The Q1 DRP Challenge is quickly coming to a close, but there is still time to put in some work and close out a couple more challenges. YHC thought everyone could use a couple more Burpees in their diet, but YHC ultimately let the PAX decide their Burpee serving size (for the most part):

Warmarama

  • 10 Burpees OYO
  • Arm Stretch (Across and Over Shoulder)
  • 10 Burpees OYO
  • Soap Droppers (Straight Down, Left and Right)
  • 10 Burpees OYO
  • Calf Stretches (Both Feet, Left and Right)
  • 10 Burpees OYO
  • How at the Moon (10 Count)
  • 10 Burpees OYO

The Thang

With 50 Burpees under our belts, it was time to play YHC newest favorite game: Behind Door #1! The rules are simple:

  1. Partner up
  2. Each round, a PAX chooses to see what’s behind door #1 or door #2
  3. Partner 1 does the exercise on the sheet, Partner 2 does what’s behind the door the PAX selected
  4. Flap Jack when Partner 2 gets done with their exercise
  5. Repeato for 10 rounds altogether

  • Round 3 (Flutter Kicks): Door 2 was selected – 10 Burpees

  • Round 5 (Lunges): Door 1 was selected – 10 Burpees
  • Round 6 (WWIs): Door 2 was selected – 10 Burpees
  • Round 7 (Monkey Humpers): Door 2 was selected – 10 Burpees
  • Round 8 (Plank Hold): Door 2 was selected – 10 Burpees
  • Round 9 (Crunchy Frogs): Door 2 was selected – 10 WWIIs
  • Round 10 (Merkins): Didn’t matter – 10 Burpees

Mary

Mary felt like a blur after all those Burpees… YHC remembers calling on Mowgli, Impact and Link to give us their favorite Mary exercise and they were sit-ups (WWIs), Flutter Kicks and Freddie Mercuries respectively. YHC also remembers calling out 2 more sets of 10 Burpees to get the PAX to an even 150 Burpees for the day.

COT

We’ve been stuck in isolation for what feels like months now, but the work is never done! The DRP Q1 Challenge is coming to a close, but the work is never done! GrowRuck is still many months away, but the work is never done! We’ve been given today and today only. Now, more than ever, every breath, every minute, every opportunity should be cherished and we should make the most of what we’re given. You probably didn’t plan on doing 150 Burpees first thing this morning… maybe you would’ve thought you couldn’t even do 150 Burpees… well you just proved to yourself you could!

What else feels like an impossible task today? Go get it done and, if you can’t get it done by yourself, grab a partner and get it done together!
